Like often, everything started with the « what if… ». Try something, not to be afraid to be mistaken, to fail, to ruin… It is really important to give yourself the right to go wrong. That way, from hazardous attempts, emerges sometimes great things.

This is really what happened with this console. I wanted a very graphic tray and I decided to associate three things, an assembly of same size pieces, Japanese burning technique and epoxy resin with metallic color pigments.

I think the graphic design on the tray is working well. The Shou Sugi Ban technique brings this typique fudge color and enhance the natural drawings of the wood.

At last, to give elegance to this atypical console, I imagined a base frame with two opposite triangles.
