There are some items that are both symbolic and transparent. In there main use these items may appear banal, ordinary. But they can get a complete dimension if taken out of their normal use.

To me, clothespin is one of these special items. By giving it an unusual size, the beauty and the cleverness of its shapes jump to the eyes.

This lamp has been made with white oak and epoxy resin. I wanted to make it play a role of equilibrist by holding just on one leg.
